I wanted to do this design for well over a year as it all came from conversations about how new rinks can effect nearby older rinks in the next town or city. Sadly this summer we have seen Bracknell close and Auchenharvie not set to reopen till January at least. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t skate in these rinks but really we need as many rinks as possible for our sport to grow and thrive in the UK. It doesn’t matter if you skate in what others may call ‘a run down shed’ or in a facility used by the National Programme. They all matter ❤️
